Drew Brees and the TRX Suspension Trainer
SAN FRANCISCO, December 2, 2009– Fitness Anywhere, the company behind the ground- breaking TRX® Suspension Training® method of exercise, announced today a formal partnership with the NFL’s premier passer, New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees. The partnership not only distinguishes Brees as an endorser of the TRX but also as an investor in Fitness Anywhere.

Brees’ unique affiliation as both endorser and investor underscores the significant contribution TRX Suspension Training has had on his return from a potentially career-ending shoulder injury in late 2005 to become one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
“The TRX is the greatest piece of functional equipment that exists, and it was a critical component to my shoulder rehabilitation and now to my ongoing conditioning and success on the field,” said Brees. “Whether you are a high-performance athlete, a weekend warrior, a stay- at-home mom, or just someone trying to stay in shape and get an edge, the TRX can benefit people from all walks of life.”
“For our company’s equipment and programming to have played an important role in Drew’s rehabilitation and contribute to his enormous level of success on the field is thrilling,” said Randy Hetrick, Former Navy SEAL and Founder and President of Fitness Anywhere, Inc. “Drew is not only one of the best players in the game, but he’s also shares our vision of excellence, community involvement and supporting our military service members. We’re looking forward to working closely with Drew on some exciting projects over the years to come.”
Brees experienced first-hand the versatility of Suspension Training on the TRX. Under the guidance of his performance coach, Todd Durkin, he was able to effectively rehabilitate and then use the TRX to help get himself in the best shape of his career. The following season he was back on the field without missing a game and the results since then have been remarkable. Brees nearly broke Dan Marino’s single season passing record in 2008, and this season he is leading the NFL in passing to help his team to a perfect 11-0 start.
“I don’t put my name behind anything unless I believe in it 100%,” said Brees. “So for me to endorse the company’s products and also invest in it should say a lot about how excited I am about what Fitness Anywhere is doing.”
